How to address these challenges if you are the project leader
- If you are not using your knowledge, you should try to switch to other project where you can use both your knowledge and experience.
- You can share your good and bad experiences with your team at regular intervals, so that they do not repeat the same mistakes.
- To align your vision with the company’s vision, you must check the company’s three year roadmap.
- In case you do not have any say in resource and technology selection, you should put your thoughts and recommendations in front of your seniors.
- You can share your feedback in the performance appraisal cycle of the team members you want to reward or penalize.
- Talk to your manager if your profile is not matching with your designation.
- Be very careful while communicating confidential data, check the communication management plan of the project before sending any communication related to that project.
- Seek an honest feedback from your seniors and peers.
- Go through the quality reports of other projects and check with your manager about your part.
- Update yourself by doing certifications and trainings regularly so that you are updated with latest technologies in the market.
